Jerome "Tonk" Fischer

Tonk is a graduate of Northwest Christian College and attended the University of Oregon. He received his master’s degree at Texas Christian University, and completed post graduate work at Portland State University. He is a popular speaker on tax strategies, estate planning, and accounting subjects. He served for ten years on the board of trustees for his alma mater and served for fifteen years on the Board of Salem Keizer Youth Drug–Alcohol Awareness (SKYDAA) and is currently on the board of directors of a regional insurance company. He and his wife Debbie are both active in the community focusing on school and youth programs. Besides enjoying time with his family, Tonk is an avid fisherman and woodworker.

Stewart L. Hayes

Stewart received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce from Santa Clara University in 1986 and his Masters in Taxation from Portland State University in 1996. Stewart is a member of the AICPA, OSCPA, and Marion-Polk Building Industry Association (MPBIA). In addition to tax and estate planning expertise, Stewart has in-depth experience with mergers and acquisitions, and offers investment advisory services as a registered representative of KMS Financial Services, Inc., member FINRA, SIPC. He has served on various finance committees and is currently the treasurer and a founding board member for the Salem Multicultural Institute. He enjoys coaching Little League baseball and spending quality time with his wife Mona and their two children, as well as staying physically active. He is a life long San Francisco Giants fan.

Dean L. Allen

Dean directs the firm’s attest, business valuation, forensic accounting and litigation support services and provides advanced tax planning and compliance services to clients in various industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA). He testifies regularly as an expert witness with experience in matrimonial litigation, lost profits and other business litigation matters (click here to view CV). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Linfield College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1989. Dean is active in community organizations including Exchange, SKYBALL, Toastmasters International, and the Salem Basketball Officials Association. Away from the office he enjoys golf, running, fishing and spending time with his wife and three sons.

Stephen P. Joye

Stephen was born and raised in Salem, Oregon where he graduated from Douglass McKay High School in 1986. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with an emphasis in foreign language from Missouri State University in 1993 and his Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 2006. He is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He has served as treasurer on various community service organization boards and chaired their finance committees. He is also the current treasurer and member of the Salem Basketball Officials Association where he engages in officiating basketball for the area schools. He has been married to his wife Delia since 1996 and has two daughters. Away from the office he enjoys hiking, mountain biking, boating, camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
